Newly added picture - get error

Server Version#: very latest
Player Version#: web page

When I click on pictures I have just added (refreshed metadata first) I get an error:

PLAYBACK ERROR
An error occurred loading items to play.

I tried following the database corruption steps, and that did not fix it.

Grab the logs please.

Need to look for bad_cast in them.

Please show me if you find them and specify exact PMS version. (sometimes, “latest” changes daily)

The release from today latest

Will gran logs in a bit.

Interestingly… htpc client seems to see them ok. A druid mostyly ok, but a little weird… it spins on sone pics.

Will try to gather logs with all 3

Here is the spot in the logs.
this is from web interface, and only if I go via timeline. If I go via Library tab I can see them just fine. Also, can see them just fine from Roku. Android is a little flaky but works for the most part.

PMS = 1.23.2.4625

Thank you.

We have another ticket open for this problem as well.

I’ve added this info to mine then linked mine with that other ticket (opened a few hours earlier)

The “Type Folder” and “QueryParser” errors can be ignored. You’re seeing Engineering’s longer term development work there. It’s harmless.

So… known issue?

Is there a list that we can see?

Plex doesn’t maintain a public issue tracker because what we use also contains work which is in-flight and not ready for public disclosure. Maintaining two bug lists would not be viable (logistics)
