The new News feature is interesting, but live streams of sources who offer it would be better. Is this supported? Will it be supported?
You could just use YouTube…
Yes, that’s possible, but streams aren’t official, are unreliable, and aren’t always available. My suggestion is an obvious move for Plex considering their recent additions.

Please do… the ability to access live news channels is the only reason I have a cable subscription at all any more.
I use the Cigaras IPTV channel in plex with free News m3u8 links which can be found via google rather easily. I’ve even customised with the local news channels near my location as well. Unfortunately remote plex web is broken in recent PMS releases, but it works well via everything else. I’m totally cordless with an IPTV subscription
