It would be really nice, and helpful, if we could NFC tag our movies. (TV shows would also be nice but that’s a cherry on top. )
There should also be global options to go to movie, resume, or play from start.

Can you share what use cases you have in mind?
I love movies. It is my main preoccupation and largest collection. I have digitized all my movies and the organization is a pain in the rear to say the least. I am constantly moving, and organizing, or just looking for something to watch. Like Netflix but worse in someways. If I have too many libraires, movies will slip through the cracks, become out of sight out of mind and I’ve digitized duplicates more than a few times. If I have too few libraries then it becomes a massive pile to go though.
Having a physical collection makes it easy sort through hundreds, if not thousands, of items all at once. I would LOVE to be able to put NCF stickers on my movies so that I can pull one out, scan it on a phone or ESP device and play on a specific Authorized Device or default.
So what your saying is (insert Kathy Newman joke), that it’s easier to sort through thousands of physical items vs scrolling (or using a search bar) on a screen to find something to watch?
This technology exists, libraries us something like it to checkout and return books. Sounds like a nice project for someone.
You can build it yourself.

I am aware, thank you. I was hoping for a built-in solution since it’s already on the music side. ![]()
I’m love it.
This is a great use case @tom80H
The kids could had the hability to choice by themselves. Physical things are better for kids.
