No Plex issue.
These nfo files are put there by Kodi.
i don’t use Kodi… only a Apple TV Plex app and plex server on OSX Mac
If i delete all the nfo files, they return… might be when Plex rescans all the nfo files return

Do you have other media players which use the same media folders?
Is emby installed?
no… only things on the plex server mac are sonarr, radarr, sabnzbd and plex server
the apple tv only ever gets used for plex and netflix and only has the stock apple apples installed with these two apps
likely caused by sonarr
was sonarr… something had been enabled. but now its off its not happening
