Hi Quick question about configuring Plex for my Synology NAS. Is this permission required:

Normally, you do not need to map the UID (username).
The only time you would want to do that is if there is no other way.
What you’re specifying here will make all filenames appear as if owned user admin on the Synology side (both read and write).
