No Access from FireTV App to my local Server

Server Version#: 1.29.2.6364
Player Version#: 9.12.1.36893

Hello,
i need some help and i have no ideas.
A Long time ago i used the FireTV App with an PMS on my QNAP NAS. But now its not possible to connect to my PMS. In the App is the server listed, but there is a Warning Sign an i can´t connect. I have already tried the following Steps:

  • Installed a new PMS on my Windows Computer (same problem)
  • used a other FireTV Stick (same problem)
  • used a Android App (that works)
  • used the Webbrowser (that works)

In the Log from the PMS are many Error from the FireTV Stick:

Has anyone else this problem?

None of that is related. Please provide the full logs.

Did you maybe sign into the app on the Fire TV using your Amazon account, which isn’t tied to your normal Plex account and that’s why it can’t see your server?

Good Morning,
now i am confused  the last time i used the app without an account. So i didn´t change it. And that was the problem. I loged in with my plex account and i can use my local Server.
I thought it isnt necessary because i only used a local server

Thank you

Is your server signed into a Plex account? If so, then you need to sign in to the Plex clients too.

There is an option in Plex Media Server to specify IP addresses that can access your server without authentication (i.e. do not need to sign in). If you have this set, it may be that the IP addresses changed so the ones you had before no longer apply. There is also a setting in the client app to “Allow insecure connections”. That is also required for unauthenticated access to your server. This is on by default but you may have changed it inadvertently.
