Fire Stick not accessing Plex Media Server, but Samsung TV App does

Server Version#: 1.32.4.7195
Fire TV Stick Player Version#:9.25.0.2374

Firstly - I apologise if I am repeating something that is already here, or not doing this in the right manner - but I am woefully frustrated with plex and it is ruining my ability to think.

I have Plex Media Server running on a Synology NAS DS420+ - on the whole it isn’t too bad though there are some 4k HEVC files it will not play which is very annoying.

The Plex Media Server has 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0 as the “List of IPs” not requiring Auth.

I have a Samsung TV UE43AU7 that has a Plex App (Plex for Samsung) version 5.64.1, Platform version 6.

The Samsung Plex App has an option to add “Manual Server”, so I have added the IP of the NAS and it sees the Media Server. I should also state that this is not logged into any account as I do not want to have streaming content via Plex and only using Plex for Local content. This on the whole runs ok.

I wanted to explore a Fire Stick and have the Fire TV Stick 4k Max. I wanted to test to see if this plays the content better - and for an hour (yesterday) I somehow managed to get it to connect to the server and it did indeed play files that the Samsung TV app would not play and it on the whole seemed faster.

Then I had a power cut…

I can now no longer access the NAS Plex Media Server and I really need help in understanding why as I want to use the Fire Stick instead of the Samsung App (I hate my TV)

But the Fire TV Stick does not have the option to add a “Manual Server IP” - which is annoying and I cannot see what or where it is failing.

I have both versions of the App set to allow insecure connections on the same network.

The Fire TV Stick has the media server listed on the left, but it has an Orange Triangle with “!” inside - which suggests issue with the connection.

The console from the media server is :

Request: [192.168.0.13:54928 (Allowed Network (Subnet))] GET /:/websockets/notifications (5 live) #171 GZIP Token ()
WebSocket: Performing handshake from origin
Beginning read from WebSocket

I do not want to log into the App as I do not need to on the samung tv version - though I do not see how this would help. I am curious why this version of the Player App doesn’t have “Manual Server” but the Samsung TV one does.

Again, sorry of I repeating someone else’s post, but any help in getting the Fire TV Stick app to connect to the media server would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help in advance.
