No Album Art with Prefer Local Metadata enabled

I wanted to purchase Plex Pass Lifetime during the Black Friday Sale. I’ve enabled “Prefer Local Metadata” (https://support.plex.tv/articles/upgrade-music-libraries-new-metadata-system/) but I still have no access to albums, artsists, nor any album art.

All my files are dumped into folders by Genre. So Music/Jazz… Music/Classical… Then they are named Artist%SongName… In most cases, I have only 1 to 3 songs from the artist and almost never a full album.

Plex isn’t loading a single album art. Every single other player I use works fine (Aimp, Kodi, Libreelec, etc). In fact, I’ve never had a single program that didn’t properly load the metadata, including album art.

Is it possible for me to use Plex since all my metadata is embedded, and not based on folder structure?

Are you referring to album art embedded in the files or as separate images in the folders?

Also, refresh the metadata for a few artists and then grab the server logs, I could have a quick look to see if anything is amiss.
