I use my PC as a Plex server and I can watch content without issues on several Android phones however, If I use a Chromebook I don’t have sound.
I’m sure the issue is that the source file has an AC3 5.1 soundtrack that the Chromebook can’t handle.
I’ve Googled this but I can’t find a setting on the Server or the Chromebook app to change from 5.1 to stereo.
(I’m using the latest version of both the server software and the Android app).
