Current plex version: 1.82
So, up until a recent format and re-install of my pc, everything was working just fine.
Since i re-installed Win11, installed all my usual apps, drivers, K-Lite codec packs etc… if i have a movie or episode that uses a_eac3 as audio, i get nothing. Works fine on browser version, tv etc… but the windows plex app, nothing.
I re-encoded a file using AAC as the audio codec, and i get audio again.
I have tried various work arounds like dolby dll files, and register them… reverted to an older version of the player… no joy.
Tried a different sound card (on-board & PCIe card) … and my headphones. No audio. Play a different episode, different audio codec, works just fine.
Appreciate any help!
