Plex unable to playback any files with EAC3

None of my files with EAC3 audio will playback in Plex in the more recent PMS version (1.9.6). Is this on Plex’s radar and is a fix imminent?

I’ve tried playback from Plex Web, Shield TV, Android Mobile, and Roku. I’ve tried direct play and forcing transcode. Nothing works.

My issue was solved by stopping Plex, deleting contents of the Codecs folder, and restarting.
