No audio since changing to Premium Music Library

Plex was working fine, until I changed my library. I created a new Premium Library and deleted the old one, but now music won’t play back on any device though browsing and searching works fine.

On the Android app I get “Unable to play media”, on the web client I get “An error occurred loading items to play”.

My server is a Raspberry Pi, the files are all in OGG format, and before I changed libraries it was working fine.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

…and today (24 hours later) the audio is working. I’ve changed nothing, not restarted any of the devices involved, but the audio is now working fine on the web client, Android, and Alexa.

I’m pleased that it’s working, but annoyed not to know why.

How large is your collection? A Premium music library takes longer than the regular music library to catalog all the songs. Plex will automatically download additional components if needed and maybe it hadn’t gotten to that yet since your library was still scanning. Once the scan was done, it allow PMS to get what it needed and now it works. Just a theory, but ti fits what you describe.

You might be right.

There’s about 7K tracks, and no indication that the new build was still in progress. I think it had been about 8 hours, but I’m not certain and (as you suggest) it does fit the available evidence.
