Why are certain movies not playing main character voices? I can hear ambient sounds. but when the characters actually converse, it’s silent or so low I can’t her anything but maybe a little static. It’s odd that I can hear everything around them, I can hear the commercials just fine, return to movie and no voice for the actors talking. Some movies are just fine, others not. For example, I watched 2:22 and it was perfectly fine. I tried to watch Soul Survivor and can not hear a word spoken in the movie. I tried on Roku Stick, and on my PC.

Are they situated on your own Plex server? Or are you talking about the free, ad-supported movies available under “Movies & Shows on Plex”?

It’s not like I kept a list, but I remember the one I just told you about, cause I watched part of it last night. “Soul Survivors” date released 2001. If it’s a codec issue, fixing that one should also fix others. If I find any more, I can add to this list.
