No Dashboard info available

Hi, i cant see any server dashboatd info from the web client . I am a lifetime plex member but when i click on server dashboard i see a message that says:

Want more data? Get stats like top users, what’s popular, and bandwidth usage with the new server Dashboard

Server running on a mac mini and is Version 1.9.7.4460

Other plex pass features seem to work ok…such as user access restrictions and syncing,

That’s the issue right there.
The dashboard needs a current server software version. Yours is ancient.

Hmmm…ok Im confused then…Check for updates is not able to be clicked on, and my update channel is set to public ?

How do I force an update ??

I am not a Mac user myself, but according to others it is very easy to update manually:

  1. Download new PMS from below
  2. Quit PMS
  3. Double-click download to unzip or mount DMG (depending on version)
  4. Drag the new Plex Media Server.app to replace the old one (usually in “Applications”
  5. That’s it
