As far as I could understand, selecting my streaming services would enable to find something to watch in all of them and to get content recommendations inside discover.
But inside the online media sources, discover is disabled… and there is no option to enable it.
Are you using a specially locked-down web browser?
Do you have content-filtering web browser add-ons installed?
Do you use an internet filter of some sort? (Privoxy, Pi-hole etc.)
hummmm I do, yes. I use adguard dns servers and ublock on the browser. I disabled adguard (bypass) and ublock, rebooted everything but still no options under discover source.
From your screenshot above you’ll want to select Disabled for Managed Users. This option enables Discover for the admin or home owner account. Once you have this set you should see the Discover source pinned in your sidebar. If you do not see the Discover source pinned in your sidebar it may be found in the list of unpinned sources. You can find those by selecting the More... option found at the bottom of your sidebar.
To my knowledge your region should not be blocked. Could you please share a screenshot of what you are seeing in the Discover source?
Thank you! It worked! Pinned Discover and if I access through it, it will show content from the streaming services configured, although I couldn’t find a search inside discover and plex search won’t find content inside streaming services (I don’t know if this is the supposed behavior). My goal is to have a search function that would find content no matter where it is.
Enable ‘Display “More Ways To Watch” Search Results’ on the Online Services settings page.
Put your cursor into the search field on the top of the web app.
You should see some “slider” icons on the right end of the input field. Click on it.
Enable the “More Ways to Watch” source.
