Plex’s search function should search our media. Full stop. And then any other additional or 3rd-party searches or suggestions it produces should be OPTIONAL. There needs to be a server setting that allows admins to disable the 3rd party search function completely.
I’m pretty sure this would have to be an Account level function, as they’d never allow a server owner to dictate what individual user accounts can and cannot see.
Bear in mind, a single user can possibly have access to multiple servers.
As the admin to my plex server, I am able to interact with many settings that apply to all users on my server. But thanks for the suggestion.
