I recently purchased an Nvidia Shield, Happague dual tuner and signed up for Plex pass. I connected the tuner directly to the Shield because I only want to use it for watching shows on my actual television (I know, old school). I have not been able to find out how to get the DVR and Live TV option to appear in the menu. I updated Plex as one person recommended, but that didn’t help. I am been going through forums and FAQs for hours and have not been able to find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Did you setup the tuner in the DVR settings??
Ironically, as soon as I posted the question, Plex finally recognized my tuner. Up to that point, I didn’t even have an option for DVR and Live TV so I couldn’t set up the tuner. It took almost three hours for Plex to recognize I had a tuner hooked up. I am crying tears of joy…
