I am trying to setup the DVR service using my HDHomerun connect. I have upgraded to the plex pass, and have been trying to follow the directions in FAQ, but the DVR option doesn’t show up under settings/server. I am probably doing something wrong, but I can’t find any answers in the forums and evidently, there is no support other than these discussions. Can anyone help?

There is no dvr option for plex cloud!
from what I could find in the forum, Plex DVR only works on a local Plex Media Server – currently not in the cloud.

Yes, that does answer that question. I am having trouble setting up my pc as a media server. Maybe my PC does not meet minimum requirements, but I thought that at least it would tell me that when I was trying to install the software. I am trying to avoid spending money on a separate NAS.

Thank you all! I uninstalled/reinstalled the Plex media server and it all suddenly started working. Since I started with the cloud and nothing I wanted to do wasn’t working, I was worried that I had made a mistake paying for the Plex pass. Thanks again for the quick replies.
