Hi I recently purchased the HDHomeRun tuner and set it up with plex but it will not give me the freeview epg rather I get the Youview epg which is the closet epg but not quite the same is there any way to get the freeview epg
Bump - my guess is that this is an oversight at the moment. Plex people … ‘Freeview’ in the UK is what the majority of users will be using. It is the default over the air digital broadcast system. Its not the same as ‘Freesat’

At the moment the best Channel Guide I can get is YouView - Carlton - LWT (Southeast), YouView, https://www.youview.com, is from a company called TalkTalk and is their solution, but you need a subscription to view and you need to use TalkTalk as your ISP.
My OTA content is Freeview, https://www.freeview.co.uk/, Freeview is well named as it is free to view, no subscription to pay.
Would be nice if I could select Freeview, in the UK, for the DVR recordings?
Freeview is available to nearly 100% of UK viewers, and is by far the most used for OTA channels in the UK, hopefully will be supported soon by Plex, for channel guides and would very much like to be able to select a cord cutting channel guide such as Freeview 
Is the fact that I can’t select it currently, an issue with Gracenote 
i have had a word with a plex employee, and he told me he has submitted the request to GraceNote to re-add FreeView for us.

Thanks a lot for that, Can you let us know when GraceNote has started providing FreeView data to Plex, and what we need to change to start using it, I guess just delete and re-add your HDHomeRun, and finally do you need to enter all of your postcode or just the first half, for Plex to offer FreeView listings?
HI I recently bought the supported Hauppauge usb dual tuner but get stuck at the point i try and install the EPG. I too cant see a Freeview option but do see YouView - Carlton - LWT (Southeast). Unfortunately if i select this the orange button starts to show a white ‘thinking’ rotating wheel and I can’t proceed however long i wait?
We’ve posted about FreeView returning for the UK here. Please post any issues with channel mapping or missing channels in that thread.
I would like to add to this ageing thread, especially as I cannot go to the page you’ve put the link to… Not all Freeview channels are in the list for Cardiff Wenvoe or any other areas of the UK, is there a slight chance we FreeView users of Plex could get all our missing TV channels and radio channels all in our EPG please?
I’m missing quite a few channels that are are on air…
