Or, create another folder and change the registry again, so it points to the new, empty folder. If you want to play it safe.
So deleted both sets of data. What was on my C and Y drives. Started plex again. Added libraries. Data is being saved to the ‘Y:\Plex Metadata’ folder structure.

Yes! Not sure what the issue was, but deleting the file structure and re-entering my libraries has resolved it.
