Dear Plex Community,
on my QNAP NAS QGD1602, I installed and successfully set up the Plex Media Server 1.32.0 via the APP Center. Remote access also works flawlessly, and I can also stream my movies and series on my iPad without any problems.
Now I would like to stream live TV via my TV receiver VU+. So, I installed xTeVe 2.2.0 on my QNAP NAS and also stored the channel list as an m3u file. If I now want to stream the channel, the following messages appear in the log file of xTeVe.
I am having a similar issue using xTeVe. My playback will start but only last roughly 30secs and then stop (go to a black screen), the xTeVe log says the client has terminated the signal. I’ve tried changing the buffer size and type (FFMPEG vs VLC), nothing works. I am running the same Plex server version as you, just via Windows. I can’t actually run a newer one for Windows because it is broken and I can’t get into the server settings. I swear Plex really wants me to find another solution…
Same issue here. I can play the xteve stream with Jellyfin or direct with VLC without issue. With buffer on or off. I decided to pay for plex again to test and nope, will not work.
