I just signed up a tidal premium account. Now i would like to create Plex-playlists wich contain a mixture of Tidal- and other local Plex-tracks. This seems not to be possible - inspite of stating otherwhise on the plex website. How do I create such playlists?
Have you updated your plex server to the very latest?
Are you using the hosted web app? https://app.plex.tv/desktop
I am using the web app as well as the android app and androidTV-app.
On all apps it is not possible to create mixed playlists with Tidal and Plex tracks.
I can only create plex playlists OR Tidal playlists.
My plex-server is up to date:
1.14.1.5488-cc260c476
Could you provide me a step by step description, how to create a mixed Playlist?
When you are adding a Tidal item to a playlist, you’ll see a screen similar to this one:
The yellow text is a dropdown selector which you can switch to one of your own servers. Then the Tidal item will get added to a playlist which is stored on your own server, (and which can have items from this server)
Then you will have a playlist with both local and Tidal content.
You might have to use the ‘hosted’ web app https://app.plex.tv/desktop until the bundled/local web app has been updated to a newer version.
