I was wondering if this is a known issue or if it's just me. After using plexconnect none of the other apps on my apple tv work. It would just get stuck on the "Accessing....." then after a few minutes it says to try again later. Can someone help me resolve this please.
If you changed the DNS server on your Apple TV to your computer's IP, then you have to make sure your computer is turned on and PlexConnect is running at all times in order to access any apps on your Apple TV. If you turn PlexConnect off, then your Apple TV won't be able to access any programs (unless you revert the DNS server on your Apple TV back to automatic, instead of your computer's IP).
In addition, your settings.cfg file may not have correct values for ip_dnsmaster or enable_dnsserver. You could try deleting your settings.cfg file and running PlexConnect again to see if it functions normally.

My rig is always on, and plex connect is always on as well. I wil ltry deleting the settings.cfg to see if it works. thank you!
By default it's set to pass DNS request on to Google's DNS server (8.8.8.8). Are you able to access that? You can try changing ip_dnsmaster in settings.cfg to the IP of your ISPs DNS and see if that works.
