I have this exact same issue on my Shield TV. The only work around is to add the contents to a playlist. Playlists will load fine. Hopefully the devs will fix this issue soon.
@elan Could you have someone from the dev team take a look at this issue? It’s really weird. Shared content shows up on every device EXCEPT the Shield. I thought it was the same software, but something is preventing the shared content from showing up when selecting the shared tab.
