No sound on certain TV with Plex Media Player ver. 1.1.2 and newer

One of my older TVs has no sound when I upgraded Plex Media Player to version 1.1.2 or newer. The PMP is running on Raspberry Pi 2 connected to the TV via HDMI cable. The TV model is Sharp LC-32D30M-BK.

I have tried different RPi (including RPi 3), HDMI cables and SD cards, all same problem. Everything is fine when I use them on other TVs.

The only solution for me right now is to downgrade the PMP to version 1.1.1 (luckily I saved a copy of the image file in my PC).

Anyone else facing this problem?

Identical problem; first time bad experience with PlexMediaPlayer

Hes havingbsame issue

I have the same issue with PMP on my Raspberry pi 2. Is it possible to download 1.1.1?

@thomasaasen good question, would be interested in downgrading as well

Did you all mean downgrade to 1.1.1 from 1.1.2 or to 1.1.7 from 1.2.0?

Plex decided they will not keep a download archive.
So you are stuck to the version you upgrade to.

Thnx Plex!

I still have some versions in archive myself. Let me know which one you want!

So… I guess this was resolved? Sure would be nice if they let the rest of the community know what they did to fix their issue…
