Hi All, this may have been raised before but I can’t seem to find a solution.
Set up is Android TV (Plex app),SONOS Arc.
In the Plex app I had to eb=nable Pass through so I can receive Dolby Atmos. But some shows with 5.1 DTS don’t play any sound at all. It will play sound if I disable passthrough.
How to I keep passthrough enabled and fix the sound of shows that won’t play?
try the following: goto Settings - Additional settings - in Forwarding item choose Optical and new item appears Optical coding. Do unmark all items inside. Goto back in Forwarding and choose or HDMI or Switch off.
p.s. may be some items have another names because my Plex in not english
Just tried that, it didn’t work.
Do plex have an official support team? I can’t find anything. This is really annoying that it just flat out doesn’t recognise certain files when passing through to Hdmi. Is this a plex issue or a receiver issue?
You probably need to disable DTS on the device itself if whatever it is directly connected to cannot handle DTS.
