Give Option to configure DTS Passthrough with HDMI as Optical

Hello,

when enabling HDMI Passthrough on Android Devices DTS is transcode to Stereo PCM
when enabling Optical Passthough DTS is working with 5.1 (also DTS-MA, DTS-MA 7.1) but with optical Option Atmos is not working.

give an Option for HDMI Passthrough which Profiles are Supported, as exampe DTS 5.1 (and all Higher DTS will use DTS 5.1 and not PCM 2.0)

or make an Option for optical passthrough, except Atmos should use HDMI passthrough
should be a quick fix

of course fixing HDMI Passthrough would be nice.

Passthrough for DTS audio works without issue on my Android devices.

Suggest you provide additional information regarding your situation.

Plex Media Server version
Plex Android TV client version

Devices in use - Shield/FireStick/etc., include specific model.

How the device is used - to what is it connected, etc.

FireTV Cube 3 with Philipps TV and Sonos Arc Ultra
Plex Client is: 10.22.1.1607
Server is: 1.41.2.9134

when i Use the Optical Passthrough wit AC3 and DTS i can play AC3 and DTS
if i play a Movie with DTS-MA 7.1 i get DTS5.1 (its okay because Sonos does not Support DTS Higher 5.1)
but with Optical Passthrough i get no Dolby Atmos

when i use the HDMI Passthrough Atmos and AC3 and E-AC3 is working but all DTS played with Stereo without passthrough.

so it is of course a bug but also a feature request to get a configurable Option => Use Optical Passthrough expect for Atmos and E-AC3, for Atmos and E-AC3 use HDMI Passthrough

Problem exists since years

so move this to feature request for a dirty workaround option
Use Optical Passthrough expect for Atmos and E-AC3, for Atmos and E-AC3 use HDMI Passthrough
