For the past few months I’ve been unable to get subtitles on Live TV on a Roku client - It’s very specific to this situation.
Subtitles work perfectly on pre-recorded video, just not on live TV. If I watch a live show while also recording it then subtitles do not show while watching live but do show when watching the recording back later.
The problem is only with Roku clients - when using several other types of client, subtitles work fine with both live and pre-recorded tv.
I’ve tried every combination of settings on the Roku I can find but nothing seems to work. Is there some servr setting that the Roku requires but other clients don’t?
