In my windows Player (client) it doesn’t player theme music , and the option is on , I tried turning it off and on again but still not working and did try reinstalling it.
the theme music work perfectly on my LG TV plex, Nvidia shield and my iPhone. but not on my windows, I think the latest version (1.20.0.1406-f47a81b7) have a bug, I can’t even find an older version to download because they dont have archive of older versions, i tried the method of using URL link and replace the numbers of older version but didnt work either. so any solution?
even the Web plex on the same computer play theme music fine.

I don’t know what is Hdmi audio passthrough and didn’t change anything in settings.
I just did update the client.
I was fiddling with my sound adapter settings for surround for gaming maybe that did mute it somehow.

HDMI passthrough is when you select a HDMI port as your audio device and then activate the checkboxes which appear underneath for the various surround sound formats.
Makes only sense if you have a device connected to the HDMI port which can decode these sound formats on its own.
