No thumbnails for photos

Hi there,

I’ve just added a photo library (I expect about 50k+ JPEGS) to my Plex server and it’s showing no thumbnails at all. Both the library and the general server are set to generate video thumbnails (does that setting really also pertain to photos?!) and the server does so perfectly fine for all the movies and TV shows I have on the server - it’s just the photo library that doesn’t show any thumbnails whatsoever.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Player Version#: Current (I think) Windows desktop application, Chrome 97, Android 8.27.2.29938

did you get this resolved? I’m missing a ton of photo thumbnails too, can’t figure out why they won’t generate.

Can you grab server logs after adding a photo. if still happening

Thanks for the reply. I’ve attached the log file after adding a few new images this morning.

And yes, it’s still happening. NO thumbnails are being shown at all in the Photos section. I was actually about to delete the Photos library and not look back…

I have the same issue. I’ve tried different naming conventions without success.

@TedBonez are you able to provide server logs after adding some photos. I just like to have as many as possible for bug report.
