Plex not generating thumbnails for new photos anymore

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Plex for many years for all kinds of media, including photos, without any issues. Recently, however, Plex stopped generating thumbnails for new photos and albums that I add.

What I’ve tried so far:

  • Deleted the affected photos and re-added them

  • Emptied the trash and refreshed the library

  • Analyzed the library

  • Restarted Plex

  • Updated Plex to the latest version (currently 1.41.9.9961 on Windows 10)

Unfortunately, the problem persists — new photos are added, but their thumbnails stay blank.
Older photos still show their thumbnails just fine.

Does anyone know what else I can try to get Plex to generate photo thumbnails again?
Could it be a cache issue, permissions problem, or something in the recent updates?
