Non-English subs: it’s 2021 and where is this goodness!?

For years subtitles have been driving me nuts!

I am so happy Plex now has a subtitle grabbing system built in.

Watching Foundation and Invasion, where both series flip between English and some other language: where, o where, are those subtitles that only cover non-English? I don’t know what they’re called, and I think I’ve only once ever (manually) found them and enjoyed them during an episode.

Most of the time I have to cover the letters up with something in front of my face just to keep from reading the entire episode!

Why is this still a problem!!?? Anyone shed any light on this for me? TIA!
