Non-tv apps don't link with managed users

Hey Guys,

So Ive been trying to move towards all managed users, however Im having issues on non-TV app usages. Any app that asks for the login VS the 4 digit activation code.

The only way Ive been able to get the non-tv apps to auto login the user without asking for a pin, is with the invite existing user method. This is tedious as I need to send the invite, they need to accept, then I need to get them to create an account and then we need to login with that new account and select the user, input the pin, then auto login option in the app.

With the TV activation model all they need to do is send me the code, I authorize, then select their managed user, enter pin and auto login option.

Is there a reason we cannot authenticate with the 4-digit code with non-tv apps? (IE Desktop apps on IOS and windows or phones etc.)

Anyone else have this issue?

EDIT: So yeah basically if I have a user using the managed user on their TV, if they want to use their Ipad they need to get a invited friend account, they cannot use the same managed user account on a non-tv authenticated device?? This doesnt make sense to me
