I’ve been getting “Not Authorized” a lot for the past 1 or 2 years, the only known fix I’ve seen online is to bomb the Preferences.xml token and claim a new one. I’ve done this before several times but didn’t ever help in the longterm, problem always came back. Figured I’d give it one more whirl but this time I can’t reclaim the server at all. My method of claiming, which has worked in the past, is to browse directly to :32400/web and then click the “Claim Server” button. But it just spins and times out after 15 seconds.
Relevant part of logs posted below (same thing happens each time I attempt to claim), please let me know if I need to post additional logs.

Not sure how this will work on FreeNAS these days but
run it inside the container -OR- use the -p switch from a command line to give the absolute path to Preferences.xml.
Hey, thanks I think that script ran fine, it wasn’t actually modifying my Prefs file (maybe a permissions problem or something) but I made it echo the freshly generated token so that I could copy it in manually. Only problem is the PlexOnlineToken it gave me is unchanged from what it was before… so I’m not sure if that solved anything? My problem has been every few days I get “Not Authorized” messages and can’t watch or listen to anything on my plex, I tried to pinpoint which logs were the root of it, and found stuff like this that seemed maybe relevant:

Restarting the PMS does fix it but still that’s very annoying. Any ideas on that?
