Not Authorized - You do not have access to this server

Server Version#: ?
Player Version#: ?

I’ve been using Plex for a couple weeks now. Recently I started getting a message about an unauthorized IPS address trying to log into my server. I did some reddit research and it seemed like this was my public address whenever I was logging on or something? I was still unsure so I changed my password and set up 2FA.

Everything was fine for a few days, but now I have the following “Not Authorized - You do not have access to this server” whenever I try to access my music, movies, or tv shows folders while I am in my web browser Plex server. I did the suggested fix from the Plex support page where you go into the registry and delete the following: (note-PlexOnlineHome was not there)

  • PlexOnlineHome

  • PlexOnlineMail

  • PlexOnlineToken

  • PlexOnlineUsername

It did not work so I tried uninstalling Plex Media Server and reinstalling to no avail, so here I am. I’m not very computer savvy, but usually if someone can lay out a fix plainly I can make my way through it. Thanks.
