I have an issue getting access to my plex server from the outside when I use the country blocking feature on my proxy firewall.
I have no problems NATting port 32400 through my proxy to allow users to access my plex from the outside.
But if I enable the Country Blocking feature, blocking any other country initiated external to internal, EXCEPT port 32400, the plex server states that there is no access from external.
As soon as I disable country blocking in general, it checks out okay again.
The funny part is that the 32400 port is specificly excluded country blocking for all countries. This means that this particular port is allowed through even the country blocking is en effect for port 32400. I’m using this exclude feature for other ports, that works great.
Is there any other ports used making the plex “available outside your network” check?
Does any one know which country PLEX is doing this server check from?
