"not enough free space error" -- am I attempting to store on wrong drive?

Server Version#: 4.16.2 running on Windows 7
Player Version#: Roku app - latest version

Hi -

I am getting a disk space error when Plex gets to the exact moment of beginning to record a scheduled recording, even though I have put the target library folder on a D: drive that has more than 100 Gig of free space. I’m guessing the error is caused by the system attempting to temporarily store content on my nearly-full C: drive prior to transcoding it. I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing before I start mucking with advanced settings.

Here is the log entry from the moment the error is being generated:

Dec 05, 2019 10:00:00.637 [10804] WARN - Low disk space: 8GB source file, 119.14GB capacity, 1.35GB available on “C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache\Transcode\Sessions”

Dec 05, 2019 10:00:00.640 [10804] ERROR - Grabber: Not enough free space in “C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache\Transcode\Sessions”

If I change that “TranscoderTempDirectory” path to my D: drive, will that solve this problem, or is there something else I need to address?

Thanks.

That’ll probably fix it, go ahead and try.

Yes, that worked. Thanks.
