Trying to Add Salems Lot to my library, and it does not match no matter what i do. I went in and edited the meta data and got it looking right but it still shows up unmatched

Which year? IMDB lists two versions.

Many times this is due to naming and folder structure.

Please show a directory listing with folder names and file extensions.

I have the 1979 and 2004 version
Don’t have nothing to do with the folder structure or the naming. have them in …/Movies/Salems lot/ name (date).avi
The only one that will show up is the 1987 version of The Return to Salems Lot.

TheTVDB and IMDB list both versions of Salem’s Lot as a two part TV mini-series. You may have to add them as a TV show, not a movie.

Update: This matched on my system. Year on 1979 version is needed, even if not listed that way in TheTVDB. If I did not include the year, then Plex considered them duplicates, listed only the 2004 version, and the icon/cover art for each episode had a 2 in the upper left.
