Here’s the first one - This is a False Alarm:
A proper file name - worked as expected:

A Natural Match is instant.
This may, or may not contribute to ‘the bug’, but is a data point of sorts. The (YEAR) field when not present in the name at TVDB fails most of the time at my house.
Perhaps when testing - and maybe if a Plex Dance is employed - I really am suspect of those 3 dashes. Yes I know how it’s supposed to work, but if you remove that 3rd dash and it does work with the (YEAR) field - another data point I suppose.
Hold off - I’l try it myself. Mine are test files.

I’m no longer suspect of dash #3…lol - but an unecessary (YEAR) field blows the mission.
as far as I am aware, plex essentially ignores anything after the s##e##, the dash and any episode title is irrelevant as far as plex matching metadata.
I found that one yesterday and forgot to add it…
good one.
BTW: if it’s not been mentioned - @ChuckPa was speaking with a developer involved in matching and such and the person revealed this ‘engine’ is like Skynet in that it learns… keep fixing match. It might start working before it recruits our kitchen appliances to kill us in our sleep.
