Ok… this is going to be a bit rash but will solve it. I apologize.

  1. Stop PMS
  2. Open File Station
  3. Rename Library to Library.old (save the existing for now)
  4. Start PMS
  5. wait 60 seconds for it to do internal setup / create files
  6. Setup a new server.
  7. Add only the movies Library
  8. Let’s see what happens

Actually, I have one more question. I’m about ready to delete my library.old. Anything I should save from there or just pitch it?

Ive been trying to rebuild my libraries. My movies and tv are ok but music is not going anywhere. here are my logs. can you review and let me know if you see anything happening.

Music, has always been a tricky one for me as well, I’ve learned a lot of trial and error that it’s all about the Metadata, the properties behind the music is key, if you’re having naming and misinformation and trouble finding said music that metadata is a pain especially if you’re getting them via torrents, the metadata from them are always jacked up, Filebot (available in the appstore) is one if not the Best Naming programs for Plex (Works beautifully on TV, Movies and Music and does so much more) I have over 620k of music on my server and I still need to customize it because of misinformation and it’s hidden, once I delete the properties and rename it the way I want it, the files show up. Hope this helps you with your music …

I’ll get back to the music later as I believe its now working.

Another question: how does one either kill the guide that keeps refreshing and change it to another one? Im using the Live TV function with an HDHOMERUN but the guide keeps refreshing and takes a significant amount of time and resources.
