I had a HD crash, which ended up destroying my entire video library. I replaced the broken HD with a new one, and restarted building up my library again.
I’m using PlayOn as my video downloader. The videos play fine in applications like VLC. They also play on other devices. It also works on the PLEX server application.
Trying to play them via local computer browser, via PLEX screen gives an error, and I end up having to clear the cache to be able to relog to PLEX with it not immediately going to the error page. Plex works playing external movies, like from crackle.
A few unusual characteristics has happened over time. First, I was using Brave Browser, and it was the first browser to stop working for playing videos on the plex page. I tried using Edge, and it worked for days afterwards. However, now neither works. ( Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT )
I’ve refreshed the browsers. Reinstalled Brave. Reinstalled the desktop application. Cleared the browser histories. I can not seem to get the browser application to work properly to play movies.
