I think but very unlikely I asked this last month, but as I was thinking about it, it sounds very different. If it is please answer, and if it’s the same I’m sorry.
The Setup: My Plex service is in the office running on a Windows 11 pro desktop with 32GB of ram, and the chip is an Intel I9-11900k. My player is my Samsung 65" 2022 TV. My wife and I were watching Survivor tonight, and at the same time, I told Plex to record it and disable commercial deletation. After 3/4 of the way through we paused the program for about 30 mins. After that, we resume watching it again. A commercial came on and I wanted to fast-forward it past the commercial. That didn’t work. So what will work? Is this Time Shifting (I don’t think so).
Another question.
I’m trying to figure out if it’s Plex’s problem or MCE Buddy’s problem or my problem. It seems that after I record a show (using Plex), I then bring up MCE Buddy Custom Cuts and start to use it. Most immediately, while reviewing the video I notice a lot of jerking, shutter, etc. So who’s at fault here? If it’s Plex’s, how do you solve it?
