I would love it if there was an option to display a "note" somewhere on plex for your users, so when they login they can read the note - for instance to inform them of episodes missing, series added etc. You could even have a "global noticeboard" - One that anyone/everyone can write on, so a collective notepad. If they found something not working they post on the global noticeboard , an easy way of passing on errors/messages to the admin.
What do people think?
So essentially a modal that would be thrown up at login whenever you had the need to announce something? Sounds cool, and something I'd definitely use. You've got my vote.
Yeah, nothing advanced or flashy! Just a note to people informing them of things, or a notepad that anybody can write on so you can see the latest news, or both! :') The simple easy to implement non flashy features are usually the best and most efficient! I have a massive library, and I can't watch all content to know it all works/is in the correct language etc :P. Also, the global notepad couldn't be abused with spam messages or anything, because plex requires an account, and invitation to a library. So if it did happen, well it's your own friend doing it :')
