Thanks for your feedback.

You are right, we will be investigating our options to make novaroma portable,

we are not really familiar with mac or linux, but microsoft's new policy (open sourcing .net and making it support mac and linux) is promising, we will definitely try :)

Pretty slick interface, installs and uses uTorrent, saves to the folders you designate, runs in the background and looks for new episodes, lets you choose any/720p/1080p video quality, gives the videos (TV shows at least, I haven't tried a movie yet) a Plex-friendly name.  If you are okay with downloading via torrents, it's pretty nice.

EDIT:  I was wrong about the renaming, the file names are unchanged, but the Plex scanner is reasonably forgiving.

Hi Terry,

Thanks for your feedback.

We also use Plex, and after testing we realize Plex is smart enough to work with default file names. So we left file names unchanged, this lets OpenSubtitles (or other subtitle providers) to find the correct subtitle for the release.

But one can develop a plug-in (or runtime service) to do the renaming (like our mkv packager plug-in).

Maybe we can add a setting to do a renaming -based on a template- after subtitle downloaded (or after download completes-when no subtitle language selected) on one of the next releases.

Hope you enjoy using Novaroma.

That seams a pretty standard feature to me ..
I understand your thinking, but after the subs are available there should be a rename indeed.

You persuaded us, we added this to settings for movie and tv show episode (default is no renaming), now available with 0.9.4 version.

Thanks for feedback.

I wanted to share these screenshots with you and see if they are something I need to be concerned about. I haven't started using the program yet but worried it may not work because of errors during installation. Could you please let me know if I need to do something with these errors or is it normal and will work fine?

I figured out what the second screenshot was. It was telling me that Utorrent wasn't configured and from what I can tell the first screenshot doesn't affect the functionality of your wonderful program.

Okay I have another question. The ? is on the screenshot.

Yet another warning balloon. I have noticed that when the download finishes the files are put in Utorrents default download directory even though I set up a path in Novaroma. Not sure if it is something I am doing or that is a bug in the program.

Cant keep up nothing is auto downloading.

We removed schedule jobs with 0.9.4 version, new version check is done in program with a background thread.

If this error is what we think it is (invalid path name), we fixed this with 0.9.4 version, Windows does not allow some characters in file and directory names, now we are using safe names.

This looks like a network error but we are not really sure what caused this error (unable to read data from...), if you could send us a feedback (via the feedback button (smile-frown) next to the about button), we can examine the error.

Cant keep up nothing is auto downloading.

Same with the previous error

Thanks again for your feedbacks.

Have a great day.

I get this error when trying to download:

Invalid URI: the host name could not be parsed

I greatly appreciate any help,

Thanks

Hi trcsooner,

If you could send us an in app feedback (top right corner, 2 right from about button, with selecting all the errors), we can examine the error.

Novaroma.net

Hi everyone!

I 've tried install the software but I'm having some troubles:

1) At the first time I've tried, the system alert me that .net 4.5 is required. So I let the software install it.

2) After the .net update, I tried again but I receive the following error message:

[error.jpg](http://postimg.org/image/mizk0nq5h/)

My system is win7 pro.

How can I see what is the error ?

Is there any log file?

Thanks.

This sounds really great. Would love to use it. Waiting for Mac. Eta?

You’re not alone. Same popup here on Windows 8.1

I’d like to try but I have only linux.

Are you going to port this to Linux?
