Now that plug-ins appear to be dead, how about exporting playlists?

I was using Export Tools to export playlists so that I could sync them to flash drives for my cars (saves me from having to connect my phone to handle music), but now that I can’t do that anymore, it’d be great if there was a native way to export them.

Music playlists, in general, seem to be the redheaded stepchild of Plex… can’t sort anything, so I have to drag a file across potentially hundreds of tracks to put it where I want it; no duplicate track alerts; no standardized playlist formats for importing/exporting (I had to rebuild all my playlists manually when I brought my music in from MediaMonkey)…

Export Tools are continuing to work. You just need to install the latest version.

I was of the understanding that Plex was moving away from plug-ins. I’ll give the new version a shot. Thanks for the quick responses!

You are missing a point here…

Yes, ExportTools still works, and can be launched via settings, or an url, but…

Playlists sadly doesn’t work with this new method, but in the GitHub Issue I linked to above, you’ll notice that it’s work in progress, so stay tuned to the ExportTools thread for an announcement, or keep watching the GHI for progress
