I see that this feature to select how many unwatched episodes was removed from downloading onto mobile devices.
Is this feature coming back? I found it super helpful when traveling to be able to have enough shows for travel and then when I get to wifi it dumps the watched episodes and queues up new ones as needed.
As far as I know yes, but i have no ETA on that.
Unfortunately this is typical for Plex developers. They like to break things that work whille broken stuff (i.e. the old sync function) remain broken for years.
The old feature to cownload “X” episodes of a series worked really well. Also, the organization by series title was perfect. Now, seeing individual episodes with episode titles is just stupid.
It also is not deleting watched episodes and downloading additional unwatched episodes like it used to. No way to delete a series like before.
Basically, they broke syncing completely. All download does now is install the entire season, watched or not, which you must manually delete after watching. Reach the next season and you have to download it separately.
