I followed steps on the forum and it did not fix the problem nvidia shield is saying not connected. It shows signed in from my desktop windows 10. I rebooted my shield no luck. I even closed plex and reopened it. It works fine on my roku. But would love to get it working on my NVidia shield.

What version of the Plex Android TV client is installed on the Shield?
Open the app, go into settings. The version number should be displayed as an overlay in the lower right corner of the screen.
The current version is 8.28.0 (announcement).
If needed, launch the Google Play Store app to update to the latest version. You can turn on auto-update if desired, to automatically update the Plex and other apps on the Shield.
