Nvidia Shield issues playing subtitles

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2129 (but also prior versions)
Player Version#:7.25.3.14365

I’m having an issue with the subtitles. If I start a show, then go to setting to select a subtitle stream, it won’t play it unless I stop the show and start it back up again. If I select the subtitle stream pior to playing, it seems to work fine. I don’t have the same issue on other plex apps (Samsung TV, Web). This seemed to have cropped up about a month ago.

Any luck with this? I’m having the same issue.

I just found that stopping the show after selecting the subtitles, then starting again, fixed it. Also, selecting the subtitle before starting the show works as well.
