I have noticed some odd behavior with the Plex app running on my Nvidia Shield Pro (2019) in that GoPro videos shot in 2.7k (2704x1520 @ 45.3 Mbps) will take forever to start or not start at all. The caveat is that I can manipulate the app into starting the video almost instantly by skipping ahead. I have tested this issue is present with the Plex app while connected to a server running on my Optiplex Server as well as my Synology NAS. I do not see this behavior while playing the same videos within the Plex for Kodi addon through the same servers and also do not see the issue present within the Emby app (also running test servers on both the Optiplex & Synology NAS).
This issue seems to have been introduced within the last update as well as an issue where TV series auto play next video will hang for roughly 5-10 seconds while audio continues to play. I have confirmed within both server dashboards the Shield is showing as direct play for all videos I have tested so it is not attempting to transcode. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with playback on the Nvidia Shield Pro?
