Hi everyone , I’m thinking of buying the shield TV to use as a plex server and to play films locally through plex. I would like to attach an external hard drive to it so it can store all my content and play straight away and not through my network. would it best to attach a usb 3 hard drive or a NAS via usb? Have any of you got any suggestions on any particular hard drives that i should use? I wouldn’t mind a 4tb upwards. Any suggestions on a USB flash drive i should use instead of the 16gb internal storage.
I’ve tried googling but i’ve jus t come across USB flash drives and no external hard drive information.
Any help will be much appreciated.
